Watch Me @ The Players Theatre
Lora played Claire Bishop in the Off-Off-Broadway premiere of Watch Me by Caitland Winsett at The Players Theatre from August 8th through the 25th.
The production was directed by Graydon Gund and Harry Dietrich designed the lighting.
"Max, Claire, and Tony have been under constant surveillance for as long as they remember. They do everything they're asked (explicitly or not) out of fear of some unknown punishment, and they prepare to fight in a war they know nothing about. Enter Sarah: an outsider who questions not only the rules, but the whole system of living the 3 patrons have always known."

Late Night at the Mad Lion Studios
Staged Reading @ East Village Basement
Lora led the cast of Late Night at the Mad Lion Studios as Grace in its world premiere staged reading produced by Theatre Write Now at the East Village Basement. The play was written by Nell Quinn-Gibney and directed by Michael Tricca.
"It is 10:30 pm on July 1st, 1934 - the same day that the Production Code Association was formed to enforce the draconian censorship of the Hay's Code - and a pair of screenwriters struggles to finish their script by the midnight deadline. Late Night at the Mad Lion Studios is a fast-paced screwball comedy about the making of a screwball comedy, on the eve of a decision that had decades-long consequences on Hollywood.

A Book For Every Man
Staged Reading @ East Village Basement
Lora played Beth in the successful world premiere staged reading of A Book For Every Man by H. C. Dietrich, directed by Austin Nakamura & produced by Theatre Write Now. It was met with lots of love, laughs, tears, and enthusiasm from all! The reading took place at the East Village Basement on May 4th.
"Beth, a military nurse, on assignment with the Library War Service, prescribes books to wounded soldiers during WWI in an attempt to heal them more completely."

Sisterhood @ The Tank
Lora reprised her role as Sophie in Caitland Winsett's Sisterhood in a successful world premiere production at The Tank from April 25th through the 28th. The production included direction by Graydon Gund, sound design by Lucy Roberts & lighting design by Maile Binion.
"Emily is the only out queer person in all of Greek life, and the president of her sorority. When one of her sisters submits a harassment claim against her, bonds are tested and the hatred lying just beneath the surface is revealed."

I Want it All! @ Sid Gold's Request Room

Lora rejoined Let's Broadway for their April cabaret, "I Want it All!" at Sid Gold's Request Room--a night featuring some of the best "I Want" songs from musical theatre! Sisterhood Staged Reading

Lora played Sophie in the staged reading premiere
of Caitland Winsett's Sisterhood at The Chain Theatre on Monday, August 14th, at 7pm. The reading was well received to its packed, sold-out house!

Lora, under the direction of Linda Ray & Bob Goldstone performed in Next Stop Broadway's in "Spring Song" showcase at the beautiful and intimate Triad Theatre in Manhattan.

Lora was delighted to help finish out Millbrook Playhouse's 59th season in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical as Betty, directed by Michael Schloegl, in Mill Hall, PA! Having loved the story as a kid, she had a blast bringing the musical to life with the talented Millbrook Youth Ensemble. This was their first production with a combined cast of Youth Ensemble members and professionals-- it was a great success!

Lora, along with a talented cast put together by Rainbow Sun Productions, rang in the holiday season with "The Songs of Rankin/Bass" at 54 Below--and she made her 54 Below debut in the process! The show was accompanied by the incredible Joshua Turchin and hosted by Katie Nail. Along with many fun group numbers, she sang a jazzy rendition of "Frosty the Snowman," which can be watched below!

Comeback Cabaret
Lora was excited to take part in The Drama Company's 'Comeback Cabaret' series at Don't Tell Mama's in Midtown Manhattan, hosted by Sara Laursen. While she had previously been to Don't Tell Mama's as a guest, this was her first time as a performer, and she had a blast singing a favorite of hers: "What More Do I Need?" from Stephen Sondheim's Saturday Night.

Super Secret Arts Cabaret
Lora was ecstatic to be making her NYC debut in Super Secret Art's weekly cabaret in Gowanus, Brooklyn, hosted by Jake McKenna with musical direction by Toby Singer. This gorgeous loft space offered great acoustics and a cozy setting to sing two songs she loves: "I Don't Know What I'd Do" from A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder and "Room" by Shaina Taub.
